7075 aluminum sheet((Al-Zn-Mg-Cu system)
Al 7075 composition: zinc (5.1-6.1%), magnesium (2.1-2.9%), copper (1.2-2.0%), trace chromium (0.18-0.28%).
Strengthening mechanism: zinc and magnesium form MgZn₂ strengthening phase, copper improves heat treatment response, and chromium inhibits intergranular corrosion.
Features: density 2.85g/cm³, strength after heat treatment is close to that of steel, known as "superhard steel in aluminum alloy".
2024 aluminum alloy (Al-Cu-Mg system)
Al 2024 composition: copper (3.8-4.9%), magnesium (1.2-1.8%), manganese (0.3-0.9%), silicon and iron content are strictly limited to less than 0.5%.
Strengthening mechanism: Copper and magnesium form S phase (Al₂CuMg), and manganese refines the grains to improve fatigue resistance.
Features: Density 2.73g/cm³, high strength and good cutting performance, a typical representative of the duralumin family.

7075 aluminum sheet
High strength: The tensile strength of T6 state reaches 572MPa, which is the preferred material for aerospace structural parts, such as aircraft landing gear and wing stringers.
High toughness: It still maintains excellent impact performance in a low temperature environment of -50℃, suitable for missile cabins and deep-sea equipment.
High wear resistance: The fine grain structure improves processing accuracy and is often used in CNC molds and bicycle frames.
2024 aluminum sheet
Excellent processability: good plasticity in the annealed state, suitable for complex stamping parts such as automobile wheels and propeller blades.
Excellent weldability: spot welding strength reaches 80% of the parent material, and crack-free welding can be achieved with zirconium core aluminum shell welding wire.
Outstanding heat resistance: 10% higher than 7075 at 150°C, suitable for engine accessories and high-temperature pipes.
7075 alloy
Aerospace: Boeing 737 fuselage frame, Airbus A350 wing skin.
Military equipment: tank armor, missile cabin.
High-end manufacturing: CNC machining center spindle, high-end bicycle frame.
2024 alloy
Aerospace structure: aircraft skin, wing ribs, rivets (accounting for 25% of the aluminum used in Boeing 787).
Automotive industry: new energy vehicle battery tray, suspension components (40% weight reduction).
Mold manufacturing: injection mold, blow mold (thermal conductivity is 15% higher than 7075).
